MEET ELLIS

A Leader Bringing a Fresh Start For British Columbia

Born and raised in BC, Ellis has a vision to bring a Fresh Start to British Columbia. Her experience as a former federal candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada and as a television political commentator have engaged audiences across the province. Ellis was raised in Port Coquitlam, where she launched her first campaign in 2008 for city Councillor. She is a graduate of Langara College and a proud alumnus of the School of Management. Subsequently, she graduated with an MBA  from the University of Northern BC. She is a homeowner in New Westminster, where she sought the federal seat in 2015 under the banner of the Conservative Party of Canada. Her political, professional and media experience is required to lead and build the BC Conservative Party as it prepares to contest the 2017 election.

“I believe most British Columbians support our ideals: a lean government, low taxes, personal responsibility and hard work”, Ellis said in her address. “British Columbians believe in these ideals, yet far too many have been convinced they need to settle for the present failed government because not being NDP is good enough. It’s not good enough”.

“I ask the BC Conservative members to support my leadership bid and ask all British Columbians to join the party and join our movement. Recruit your friends and family to get involved, donate, and volunteer. And I ask all members who join by August 27th to vote for your leader by mail or in person at the Leadership Convention in Prince George on September 17th”, Ellis added.

Ellis is a professional advisor in the financial industry and has strong ties to the business community in the Lower Mainland.
